Jan van den Berg
Jan van de Berg studied at the Art
Academy in Arnhem. Lateron he was
a teacher at the Free Academy in Nijmegen.
At present he lives and works as a
painter and graphic artist in Grave.Van de Berg had many expositions
amongst which those in the towns of
Alkmaar ,Amsterdam, Apeldoorn, Arnhem,
Den Bosch, Den Haag, Cuyk, Velp,
Middelburg, Nijmegen, and Grave. His
work was also shown in Budapest (Hungary),as
well as in Metz (France) and in
Figiliana (Spain). It has found its
way to many private collections, in the
Netherlands as well as abroad and it can
also be found at various centres where
art can be borrowed, amongst which is
the Bonnefantenmuseum in Maastricht,and
his work is also shown in several public
buildings and in the Nogradi Sandor
Museum in Hungary too. Jan van de Berg
took part in the Graphic Arts Symposium
in Hungary as well as in an art auction
of the I.K.V.,which is the national
art-project of Lundia, and in the
Holland Art-Fair. There were several
publications on his work, for example in
the leading international magazine,
”Nike New Art in Europe”. Just like last
year Jan van de Berg, as a very well
known artist, has been invited to take
part in the single exhibition of Allianz
Nederland in Rotterdam. |
